Discover the 6 scales of the Multiscale Tongue Drum

This video presents the Multiscale Beat Root Tongue Drum.

There are 6 different scales included in a Multiscale instrument, you will hear them one after the other in order to properly distinguish the color peculiar to each scale.

The tuning system will also be presented to you, it works thanks to magnets positioned in specific areas which correspond to the different scales.

You will see the notes of the Multiscale tongue drum appear under the name of each scale when they are played (GCDEGABD).

Then you will discover the scales through a sample. This video lasts less than 5 minutes. 5 minutes are enough to get a good overview of the instruments that we make, their manufacturing and sound quality, as well as the ingenuity of the tuning system with the 6 interchangeable scales.

This video does not mention an important asset of the Multiscale tongue drums: they are all equipped with a microphone (more precisely a piezo), this allows you to plug the tongue drum into an amplifier, effects, or a mixer, for example.

However, this instrument sounds perfectly well without necessarily plugging it, hence its name: electro-acoustic tongue drum. Therefore, it offers 2 sound sources simultaneously: it works either acoustically (as you can see in the video), or electro-acoustically when it is plugged into an amplifier.
